  • Village the realtime strategy game is still deep in pre-production. I'm consulting with game veterans on the feasibility of using Flash/AJAX to serve the online demo. Ideally users won't have to download/install any software. However the more I look into the more I doubt Flash/AJAX could handle the rapid server communication necessary for a multiplayer game.
  • Village Board Game has a few gameplay revisions done, but no artwork yet. Hopefully I can get some friends together to play this weekend and get some broader feedback.
  • Village Collectible Card Game aka Third World version 0.01 was just invented by Joshua Fix. Some of the concepts he's developing are looking pretty cool. He definitely developed further the whole notion of having illegal businesses with negative social impact. But, what kind of social impact do you have when you're profitably selling drugs and using the money to fund a nonprofit orphanage and school at the same time?
  • Village Map has a few preliminary sketches done for the storefronts in the game.
